Our trade fair highlights

In Stuttgart, we will be presenting the concept of our new ‘VPZ’ cell test benches for the first time, with which even larger cell measurement setups can be tempered and tested independently of each other in separate test rooms using clamping plates. This results in more realistic cell tests and at the same time reduces costs, space requirements and the risk of accidents. We also exhibit our test equipment, such as our ESR-45 cell contacting systems for round cells and ESF-45 for smaller pouch cells, which combine simple handling, robust design and enormous adaptability with consistently high contact quality.

Focus on sustainability

For a holistically positive environmental balance, not only the battery technology itself, but also its development must be climate-neutral. Accordingly, the topic of sustainability is deeply rooted at Voltavision. We are therefore all the more pleased to be able to give you an insight into our first battery test laboratory with climate-neutral refrigeration technology. We use CO2 and propane as natural refrigerants in the central refrigeration system at the Riemke III site and have already implemented the EU requirements for phasing out HFCs by 2030. We also use centralised refrigeration and propane for the cold water circuit for the new ‘VPZ’ cell test benches and heat the hot water circuit with process waste heat from the nitrogen compressor to ensure the best possible CO2 savings.
