Exciting trade fair: Voltavision presents specially developed testing equipment for the first time at the Battery Show in Stuttgart

There is excitement in Stuttgart. From 23 to 25 May 2023, manufacturers, suppliers, engineers, thought leaders and decision-makers specializing in the battery and automotive industry will meet there at the Battery Show. Voltavision, one of the leading testing specialists for high-voltage batteries in the development phase, will also be there. The company will be presenting its specially developed components for test benches for lithium cell contacting, test piece temperature control, test chamber implementation and handling optimization for the first time at stand 10-D22. These include the Voltavision KS-600, a compact contacting system for prismatic cells that offers efficiency, flexibility and high scalability. It can also be equipped for round and pouch battery cells. Once installed in the test chamber, it can be converted for different cell sizes and formats in a very short time and with just a few work steps. The KS-600 can also be scaled for multiple test channels and according to the test chamber size. This enables Voltavision to meet the challenges of short set-up times, frequently changing test specimen formats and high quality requirements. The KS-600 can also be combined with various contacting systems from Voltavision, such as the KSR-150 and KSR-150-OS.
These two systems can be used both as an extension to the KS-600 and independently. The KSR-150 offers a convenient, reliable and durable option for contacting cylindrical cells of different formats at high currents. The KSR-150-OS is specially designed for contacting cylindrical cells with tabs on one side only.
A major premiere at the Battery Show will be the ESF-45 and ESR-45 contacting systems for pouch and round cells respectively. As the latest market launch from Voltavision, they offer fast and reproducible contacting and high test quality thanks to optimized cell pick-up. They can be used under the highest laboratory demands and test conditions and their slide-in technology enables simple integration into the test chamber. The ESF-45 is suitable as a contacting system for pouch cells of different formats. Thanks to its clever, space-saving design and the use of first-class materials, it can also be used for pouch cells of smaller formats. Its sister model, the ESR-45, specializes in contacting and testing round cells.
The DFP power feed-through from Voltavision is also traveling to Stuttgart. It ensures a clean closure of test chambers and provides all the necessary interfaces required on test benches for high-voltage energy storage systems.
